After failing at his dream of becoming an idol in Tokyo, Kenta returns to his hometown of Mikasa, where he is called out by his senior from high school. There, his senior suddenly begins to talk about his ambition to become the “King of Mikasa” the mayor of the city. Inspired by his senior‘s dream, Kenta decides to support him. However, he soon finds himself caught in an unexpected turn of events. A fleeting summer story set in the small town of Mikasa, Hokkaido. Young people, who struggle to find their place in modern society, cause a commotion during the local Obon festival. A romance about those young people creating a stir at the town’s Bon dance, as they search for their place in the world.
